Frequently asked questions

Questions families ask us

Everything you need to know before care begins. If your question isn't here, call us — we answer honestly and without pressure.

How do I get started with Reliance Homecare?

Call or WhatsApp us and we will book a free consultation. We assess the medical and emotional needs at home, then recommend the right package and caregiver — at no cost and with no obligation.

Are your caregivers qualified and vetted?

Yes. Every caregiver is a certified nurse aide or registered nurse, background-checked and clinically trained. We also match on personality, warmth and patience so the fit works for your family.

What happens if our caregiver is unavailable?

You are never left stranded. If your primary caregiver falls ill or is unavailable, we send a fully briefed replacement the same day so care continues uninterrupted.

Do you offer 24-hour live-in care?

Yes. Our Golden Package provides continuous 24-hour live-in care at KSH 40,000 a month, including personal care, vitals checks, diet-specific meals, companionship and daily family updates.

Is meal preparation included?

Clinical nutrition — dietary planning and custom meal preparation — is included in every package at no extra cost.

Which areas do you serve?

We serve families across Nairobi and its surrounding areas. Contact us to confirm availability in your neighbourhood.

Can you support a patient after surgery or with a chronic condition?

Yes. Our General Care line covers post-operative recovery monitoring, chronic condition routines, vitals checks and strict medication adherence. Higher-acuity needs such as IV therapy, wound dressing and PEG tubes are handled by registered nurses.

How do I pay and are there hidden fees?

Rates are published on our pricing page and agreed before care begins. There are no hidden fees — you only pay for the package you choose.
